Question Internal Drives

I recently bought the cords necessary to pull all the files off the hard drives of all my computers. Then when I got to my 1TB storage drive I had in my old Gateway I plugged it in and the drive was completely blank. All the files were on there when I access it from the Gateway. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about using Windows Easy Transfer? PROGRAM? With the appropriate cable?
