Unhappy Deleted Document Recovery - Win. 11

It's messy.

I wanted to change default location for Downloads so followed some steps online to change to Desktop.

Whatever I did wrong, all the files in my Downloads folder were copied/mirrored to my Desktop.

When I deleted a file from my Desktop, it was 0 size file in Downloads. When I deleted a file from Downloads, it was deleted from Desktop.

I finally was able to figure out how to delete all the ones I didn't need and make Desktop my default for downloading.

**WHILE DELETING unwanted files from my Desktop/Downloads, an important work file was deleted - Word doc.**

It was on the Desktop with the bunch of files from Downloads that I deleted.

I paid for the pro version of Recuva, and I do not see it anywhere.

I admit it is 100% user error.

Where do I go to find deleted files from the $RECYCLE.BIN?

I would like to recover the document from the point in time: 10 a.m. Central time on 4/20/2023, but I cannot do a restore of my machine because I was working and added more content, etc. since then. It used to be called Current.doc, I think.

Many hours of work will have to be duplicated which I have to start again soon because of deadlines.

Please help.

UPDATE: I have started redoing the document from scratch.
