No SOUND issues
starting at the beginning ........ I have been using just a cheap no name set of speakers on my desktop computer, a Gateway (Gateway the soundcard is intergrated on the motherboard) for 5+ yrs. All of a sudden they just quit working. So I hooked up another computer to these cheapies and took the Gateway to the shop. These cheap speakers worked on it just fine. So its not the speakers either The shop redownloaded all the drivers from Realtek, was working there but when I got it back home the speakers still did not work. So I took it back to shop & he installed a NEW soundcard with its SB Audigy Audio 1040 software again it was working at the shop but once again when I got it home it still wont play any sounds. Please WHAT CAN THE PROBLEM BE ???

I use to have a whole folder on Sound Issues but I must have deleted it.
I remember that it is one of the most difficult issue to solve. I assume your Sound Icon is on the taskbar and you have throughly check what your "Device Manager" is telling if if anything about your sound components. That is where I would start. I'll bet is something simple. |
