intel celeron question

i know these prosessors are slower then pentiums and can't run games as good that demand high requirments, but i was woundering if i would be able to run games such as "the sims" or "simcity"? The reason i'm asking this is because i'm interesting in byeing a laptop with a celeron in it.

Hi Bob,

What speed celeron ? Old Celerons used to have poor performance however the newer generations are a LOT better.

I really can't recommend that anyone ever buy a Celeron processor. The chip isn't really that much cheaper, but generally the entire sytem is built with cheaper components. You'd be much happier buying a mobile P4 system, especially with the Centrino chipset.
