Question Kasperskey antivirus too heavy for laptop?

My laptop is Acer 5502 1.7Ghz ,1G.Will Kaspersky Antivirus slow down the laptop performance?

It could do, any AV can do this gazzy. The only way to really find out is to uninstall it and see if you notice a difference.

Thank you very much.There is the different when i playing WMP before and after.But there is still a bit hesitated when i playing WMP especially video.May be my running slow problem not on AV

Thank you.I have uninstalled it and it run smoother than previous.Any good suggestion of AV for laptop?


(p/s:kaspersky lag the laptop performance??)

I use the free version of AVG and it suits my purposes. Everyone has their own idea about what antivirus program is the most suitable to use though gazzy. If you would like other feedback, post a new topic in the Applications forum.
