VHS/DVD conversion
Not sure this is the right forum for what may be a dumb question, but here goes...
I'm looking to convert a bunch of VHS tapes to DVDs or CDs. Have a Gateway Solo Pro 9300 and will be getting an Apple G4 this week. What, if any, programs would enable me to produce disks that will play on both? Or am I out of luck? |

Thanks, but not quite what I was looking for...would involve shipping videotapes to the UK from NY, a bit inconvenient and pricey.
I know there are a lot of companies in the US who do conversions - was looking for someway to do it myself actually, since I've a truckload of tapes. |

oh sorry I mustn't of looked deep enough into the page. I thought it had directions on doing it. Well first you'll need a video capture card of some sort, you'll hook up your VCR to it...after that you'll need to find further directions on how to do it, try searching google.
