I don't see any problems. are you having some? if so, you really need to give some more info as to what you feel is wrong.

There is no any serious issue, but I looks partitions is not following a good practice.
You have 5 partitions but you can store every thing only in C drive, where the operating system is stored. The best practice is keep C drive below 100GB (my one is 40GB) and keep separate ones for storing others like movies, important documents, setups. |

1. You have 5 partitions but you can store every thing only in C drive, where the operating system is stored. WRONG
It appears that your Hard Drive is 750GB and your running EFI System partitions (ESP) These partitions are FAT32. Are you using LINUX? Recovery (D) is this that for Recovery of the system |

Hi Murf,
This has only been a Windows 8.1 PC with a test of Windows 10 preview. No issues, but I have no idea why I have two recovery partitions and one is not NTFS? |

OK Preview now understand the smaller partitions. Obviously, the Recovery NTFS partition is the OEM image of Windows 8.
Not sure about 2nd recovery unless the Preview installation made it? |

Hi Murf,
This could be the case. If it is and Windows 10 was "rolled back" , wouldn't the extra partition have gone away after the PC was rolled back? I'm not extremely worried, just in a state of wonderment. |

for whatever reason it is not always the case - especially if there is a dual boot involved.

Hi Renegade,
Interesting, I have never dual booted. Could it be that since Wndows 10 is still in development and there are "bugs", this could be one? Partitions still remaining after reinstall ? I'm not mad or worried like I said, just intrigued. |

I just mentioned dual boot as one of the reasons where you may have additional partitions. I was just looking at a disk management for a brand new dell computer. It also had five partitions (no particular order) efi, recovery, diagnostic utilities, recovery utility, and the c drive.

...so this is not much of an issue? Just seems weird that the second to last partition is not marked,

it looks like it is marked as part of the recovery. because of the size most likely the diagnostics. by diagnostics I mean the part of the recovery boot that asks if you want to repair startup, go to a restore point or whatever...

Good to know. I'll wait for Murf as well to also chime in
