Computer keeps shutting off by itself

I have a
Toshiba Satellite A205-S7464 System Unit
Model PSAF3U-07300V
Serial number 97098275Q
Running on Vista Home Premium
32 Bit Operating System
2038 MB Memory
Processor: Intel ® Core ™ Duo CPU T5250 @1.50GHz (1.50GHz)

A few days ago I asked for help with my computer, (Internet froze my whole computer.) Well, I fixed that by doing a factory restore, with the original disk that came with the computer.

But now, I’m having another problem.

The computer keeps shutting off by itself. When I turn it on, It says that Windows did not shut down properly.

Anyone know why this is happening.

With older laptops, it is usually caused by overheating.
(When they get to hot they are designed to shut down to keep from starting a fire).

This is an example of what I often see after opening up older laptops with overheating problems:

The solution is to throughly, (but gently), clean out the dust and dirt and 'bingo', problem solved.

While on the subject of overheating, something else you should never do with a laptop:

Since the intake and exhaust vents are usually located on the bottom, back and/or sides of a laptop, she is begging for a disaster. Something's going to melt or worse, start a fire.

Goodness, what a babe. tatoc, what happens when you boot into Safe Mode (on startup tap the F8 key about once every half-second, and select Safe Mode from that menu)? Do you get the shutdowns then?
