Also there is a Encoding dropdown box under All Files, It's on ANSI or something, do i leave that as it is?

Also how am i surpost to go about ejecting it safely? or cant i? do i just gota pull it out?
also, how do i know when its finished pasting the files, theres no loading bar. -_-

Oh, when my USB is transferring files the light on it flashes, i remember before when it was just pluged in it was solid, so i'll go play my xbox till it stop flashing. (:

If there are a lot of files, give it time. It may be a slow process doing it this way. Once you think it might have finished, open the folder on the USB drive. If they are all there, it's finished.

Good idea. I'm logging out shortly Vustom. Once the files are copied, try the other steps I posted. If you have problems with the DVD, download the iso and give that a try.

I wont need that DVD once the files have finished being pasted, My computer has a built in system restore/format on a seprate HDD, I dought i'll run into any problems with that as i've done a system restore/format before, but then again, I've never stuffed my computer up this much.
I never really stuff my computer up that bad that i cant fix it myself, so maybe this is goodbyes

Looks like its finished, USB light has stopped flashing and it selected the Vustom folder without me doing it so it must be finished.

Is it safe to just unplug the USB now?

Have you checked that everything has been saved? If so, it should be ok.

I have noticed there are 2 folders hiding in my USB stick, $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information, both i get Access Denied, are they viruses or just system files for the USB?
