What type of files? Pictures? Documents? Are all these files within a Profile folder?

1.Right click Start then click on File Explorer
2. In File Explorer open up the CD by clicking on the appropriate drive letter for the DVD in the left pane.
3. Now the contents of the CD is shown in the right column

Now you can drag whatever file you want from the right side to the left side and put into whatever folder you want.

If the files are in a folder on the CD (right side) you could drag the whole folder to the left and place where you want.

You have to import them within the browser.

In Firefox:

1. Click the Bookmarks button on the toolbar next to the Star
2. Click on Show All Bookmarks
3. Click on Import and Backup
4. Click import data from HTML
5. Find the files

If you have each bookmark separate then you will have to import each file individually

If you have all the bookmarks say as a Bookmark.htm then you import all of them at the same time.

thanks I have IR, the file came from firefox and is named firefox bookmarks

I now have it saved out of file on my desktop and in my documents in IE.
Is there a way to copy and paste th whole thing into favorites in IE if not

I see no way to add them 1 by one either other than to go to each site and add them back that way.. Thanks!

Internet Explorer keeps favorites in your user profile:

%USERPROFILE%\Favorites

i.e., C:\users\%username%\Favorites
