adaware will not uninstall

I am trying top uninstall adaware anti virus. I first uninstalled web companion which came with adaware. When I attempt to uninstall adaware I keep getting the message that I recently uninstalled something that requires a reboot. I have rebooted several times and still get that message when I attempt to uninstall adaware.
OS is Vista.
Any ideas?

see option 2 at the following link

if the link does not help, give revo uninstaller freeware a try.

Likely just a startup command that did not self-delete after the uninstall.

Download HijackThis from Here. Then click on the downloaded file to install HijackThis. After it is installed open HijackThis and select Do a system scan and save logfile. Use copy/paste and post that log back here for review please.

The adaware uninstall option is not available anymore. The only uninstall available is through the control panel. I'm going to try revo before I try the more lengthy option Jintan suggests.
Thanks to both of you. I hope I don't have to tie your time up.
