Best free antivirus for Windows 7

Just wondering about what antivirus to use after Microsoft stops supporting Windows 7 and Windows Security Essentials.
The computer is over 12 years old, but it serves it's purpose for the person who is using it.

Panda free. Just opt out of the toolbar during the install.

Thanks Tom, before Murf answered I installed Bit Defender. It's my husband's computer, and he really doesn't use it for much. Does some browsing, and plays some card games. He also would check our bank account, and credit cards everyday, but I told him not to mess with anything financial on that computer anymore.

Hey Jill, is that a free version of Bit Defender, and if so do you still have a link to it?

Here you go. I had to create an account even though it was free.

Murf, my internet is down so I'm stuck using my phone. If you check in here, please move this thread to one of the other forums where others can respond correctly.

I'm sorry Tom, I guess I should've posted this in the Windows 7 forum.

Who should't have posted in this thread?

Thanks Jill.

Murf and Jintan, any particular reason why you suggested the ones that you did?
