Intermittent black screen

Hi,

We've been having a very odd problem.

We have a small Atom Quad Core system, running windows 8.1 pro.

It's always on, power management is disabled via control panel, user access control is disabled via registry.

Explorer.exe is not running (we change the winlogon key to launch another app).

Anyway, this PC is a dedicated system displaying some company data on an LCD screen.

It's on 24/7. It's reset at 2AM every night.

Problem we are seeing is, every once in a while, the screen goes blank. At this time we get the "No Signal" on the TV (LCD tv.. samsun, lg, sharp among others). We are not able to connect via teamviewer. A reset of the pc will resolve the issue.

Everything works after reset for a few days then this happens again.

Looked at the event log. Nothing is jumping out. We believe it's some kind of an HDMI handshake failure causing device to stop displaying then going to sleep or hibernate or something. powercfg -h off is already attempted. ie. hibernate is turned off.

Here is the errors in the event viewer we found:
The server {1B1F472E-3221-4826-97DB-2C2324D389AE} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
event id: 10010

The description for Event ID 1 from source DptfPolicyLpmService cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

DptfPolicyLpmService
ServiceStart: ConnectToDptfFrameworkDriver() failed.

(warning not an error)
Installation of the Proof of Purchase from the ACPI table failed. Error code:
