laptop problem

my laptop wnt connect to my internet without the charger being plugged in yet the battery is good
any ideas

When the A/C Charger is unplugged and your only running on the battery, does the battery show a charge? It runs OK just with the battery, except won't connect? Is this a wireless connection?

If the battery is good, the A/C Charger has nothing to do with connecting to the internet. If you have the charger in, connect to the internet, then unplug the charger, do you lose internet?

when i pull charger out internet stays on murf

OK so if you unplug the charger, just run on battery then reboot, it won't connect to the internet?

thats right the amount of times ive tried to connect then reliezed i have not got charger in plug it in works perfect

1.Open Device Manager .
2.Click the plus sign (+) next to Network Adapters , right-click on the wireless (WiFi) adapter in the list, and then select Properties .
3.On the properties window for the adapter, select the Power Management tab, if available, and then de-select the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option. Not all wireless device drivers have a Power Management option.

If it still won't connect on battery:
Set your Power Scheme to Balanced or Performance.
The WIFI card isn't getting enough power.

To get to device manager; Right click on"My Computer" then to "Properties" Left Pane click on "Device Manager"
