New games running slow / jumpy - Specs included for PC and games
Hey peeps,
My PC: Windows Vista (32) Inter Core 2 Quad CPU - Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 4 GB RAM DDR PC2-6400 (4 sticks of 1GB). NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT I've recently got 2 new PC games to play on: Street Fighter IV and The Ghostbusters Game. I've put the specs of both games below my post. First I ran street fighter, all loads in OK but when I actually get to a fight the game runs soooooo slow. Then I loaded Ghostbusters up and as soon as I got past the intro/cut scenes and into the game this was so jumpy it looked like it was running 1 frame a second. I tried lowering all the settings on both games but still the game does not run well - which I would of thought my PC could more than handle. I have updated my Gfx card drivers. I've a bit stuck what to do next so I would really appreciate some help on this. Thanks a lot, I've posted both the games specs below: Street Fighter IV Quote:

I believe your bottlekneck is going to be your 8500GT video card. I use to have the exact card in my PC. I upgraded to a NVIDIA 8800GT with 512MB. Major difference in gameplay performance.
