Printers
When I go to my printer in the Control Panel, there are 2 icons: both are a pic of printer but one has a black checkmark beside it. They both have exactly the same thing written under them (including "Ready"). Why are there 2 and why the black checkmark? Silly question but it bugs me!! Thanks for any help.

The black checkmark indicates that it is your default printer. It sounds like you have two printers installed, which is why you have two icons. Are both printers named the same? If so, you could probably delete one.

Printers
Thankyou Badchicken!!! I deleted the one that didn't have the black checkmark as they were both for my Compaq 1J600. Then I printed a page - no problems!!!
