Windows 7 upgrade advisor results

I recently download the Windows 7 Upgrade advisor on my Windows Vista laptop and it said that the upgrade is available to 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. For the ram, it meets the requirement of 1 GB of RAM for 32-bit Windows 7, but it needs 2 GB of RAM for Windows 7 x64 edition, but I prefer the 32-bit version. For Windows Mail and parental controls, it says to download new programs, but I have Windows Live Mail. The CPU speed, the hard drive free space and Windows Areo passed the test for Windows 7. For the Riicoh Memory stick host controller, the Ricoh MMC host controller and the xD-Picture Card controller, I need to run Windows update after installing Windows 7 to make this device compatible, however there are no issues detected, so it's a go. There are minor issues for the HP Quick Launch Buttons 6.20 B1 program. My computer is the HP Pavilion dv6041ca laptop computer. The IBM Lenovo ThinkCentre PC (With Windows XP SP3) hasn't been scanned yet but I will run the scan ASAP and post the results.

If you have the Windows 7 upgrade advisor, run the scan and post results here.

I ran the Upgrade Advisor on my Dell DX-66, and it caused the motherboard to catch on fire. It melted the top part of the case, which was pretty good because it gave me a space to pour some water in to cool things down.
So I don't think I'll be upgrading to 7 very soon.

Just used the pcpitstop windows 7 readiness test

1. Operating system - My current os is upgradeable
2. Memory - failed - must have 1 gig of ram - I have 4 gigs
3. Processor - Failed - at least 1 GHz processor - I have 2.4
4. Harddrive space - Failed - requires 16 gig free - I have 227 gig free
5. Screen Resolution - Failed - requires 800x600 - I have 1280 x 1024

But then maybe I should not have taken the test while running win7 64 rc :-)
