almost not picture in the monitor after pc start - the picture very very dim
few days ago there was problem that start that when the portable computer (ibm thinkpad) loading there is only one picture shown with the ibm logo. after that there is black screen and there is something loading of some ibm tools that it's barely can seen. the picture is very very dim.

what to do? maybe just settings to fix?

could be the backlight on the monitor is going bad. Did you try pressing the fn key and the bright key (should look like a sun) to brighten the screen.

Does this happen only while on Battery power or while on mains also?
Can you plug in an external monitor to the VGA output and see if the IBM tools display better on that?

the computer sent to ibm to fix it
it wan't worked with with external monitor.
it happend while there wasn't power connection as well.
