making a game dvd
hi ive just purchased doom 3 for my pc but the only version i could get at the time was the 3 disk version. what i want to do (if i can) is put all 3 cd's onto 1 dvd so it will install just using the one disk. i dont know if this is possible and if it is weather its an easy process or not.

I supose what you do is put the contents of the first cd on the dvd like it was on the original cd1. Add two more folders Cd2 and Cd3 and put the corresponding contents of each into each folder. when you install it will ask for cd2 or where the data can be found so just point it to cd2 and cd3 folders on the dvd.

I really don't understand why you want to do this since you will only be legally installing doom3 one time. Please enlighten me.
However, creating folders on the dvd with the exact volumn name of the cd may work. |
