Power Adapter Question

Hello. I believe I need to replace the power adapter for my Dell moniter S2419H. The one I have says Output: 12v 3.33A.

The Dell Support said I should search for GXYHH. Searching Amazon and a couple other sites on that the closest I can find is Output: 12v 4.0A.

Is that close enough? What do you recommend?

Thanks

On Amazon search for S2419H you find many power supplies for that monitor.

Well...

The back of the Delta Electronics Inc adapter says Output: 12v 3.33A.

When I just searched Amazon for S2419H I only get adapters in the results thar aren't an exact Output match.

When I searched Amazon for GXYHH a few days ago I got about 16 or 17 adapters with GXYHH in their title, none of which described their Output in their displayed text. Of those, about 8 showed their label in a photograph so I resorted to squinting at their enlarged photo for specs. Of those the 2 closest that could be made out said Output: 12v 4A.

Parts Window doesn't say either. Should I email them?

That leaves me with is there a close enough?

Guess I'll get one of the Amazon ones, Perhaps the one zipulrich suggested, and cross my fingers.

As long as the adaptor is the same voltage and can deliver at least the current required, and the connectors are the same it's OK.

For the one you are enquiring about, as long as it's rated at 12 volts and can deliver at least 3.33 amps and has the same connectors, it will work on your monitor.
