Black Screen with White letters - then Blue Screen
Hi and HELP!
Left the HP zv5000 laptop on, returned 5 hrs later to a black screen with white letters that read:
Realtek RTL8139(x)/8130/810X PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.3 (020326)
Client Mac ADDR: 00 02 3F 23 A2 5A GUID: CD0748D7-A519-11D8-B96C-00023F23A25A
DHCP (and the forward slash was rolling clockwise).
I shut down, rebooted, and got blue screen with white letters that read:
C0000076 Unknown hard error
Unknown hard error
Beginning physical dump (BUT nothing happened, it sat at this screen for 10 min before I decided to shut down again).
I rebooted, and the Windows XP screen came on and it sat here for 5 min...
I rebooted again trying to get to Safe Mode, and selected the "look for the last known good configuration" - nothing happened, then the screen went to the Black HP Invent screen, then it went to the Realtek info at the beginning of this mail.
I rebooted and it immediately went to the Black HP Invent screen, i tried Safe Mode and it was locked up, then it went to THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. The only thing I was able to to copy was: 0x0000007a(0xC07C17138, 0XC000000E
Can somebody please help?
