Thanks, Murf. That's what's so puzzling...I have no other USB devices, nor
an external USB device. Also, no USB entries found in BIOS setup. After
many hours of searching...forums, etc., the "Found New Hardware" message
has at least hidden itself for the time being. Because I don't know what con-
tributed to the solution, I'm not confident it won't appear again. Know that
I truly appreciate your efforts...
