Amazon Photos Duplicates

I have recently transferred all my pictures to Amazon Photos and have come to realise I have a lot of duplicates that have been accumulated over the years.

The obvious answer would have been to sort them out before transfer but I didn't and it took quite a bit of time to transfer them so don't want to go through that again if possible.

I have read a number of articles about how to deal with duplicates but none them seem to make any sense and i don't see the options mentioned.

I have been running Amazon photos directly off my PC but have now installed the Windows App but this hasn't helped.

Anyone off me any advice as to whether there is a software package, preferably FOC I could use to delete them off Amazon Photos. Or if worse case is there something I can use on the originals even if this means going through the process all over again.
