NO: do this

1. Start > In Search type Command Prompt and then in the list of results right click Command Prompt and run as administrator

Now type the following at the blinking cursor:

vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=6GB

Now lets go back and see if it changed typing;

Vssadmin list shadowstorage

Now the result should show:

Shadow Copy Storage association
For volume: (C :\\?\Volume{c0753590-6ba9-11dc-864e-806e6f6e6963}\
Shadow Copy Storage volume: (C :\\?\Volume{c0753590-6ba9-11dc-864e-806e6f6e69
63}\
Used Shadow Copy Storage space: 0 B
Allocated Shadow Copy Storage space: 6 GB
Maximum Shadow Copy Storage space: 6 GB
