Thanks for the reply. A very nice clear video.

I am fairly OK with the Macrium process (although the video has shown how to make correct partition sizes on the new ssd).

My main question is how to physically connect the new sdd to the system to allow the cloning process.

I have the kit I mentioned so can I use that or can I connect the new ssd to one of my usb 3 ports for the transfer, in which case what is the actual cable I need to get?

Also, as I already have am ssd I am assuming I won't need to update any drivers?

Finally, do I need to disconnect all the other drives in my system before doing the update?
