I assume that it works ok in IE or another browser such as Opera.
You may want to double check your firefox settings.
You may also want to try firefox in it's safemode
Do this by going to start>run> and typing firefox -safe-mode
Also check any firewalls/internet security programs to check that they are not blocking cookies.
