I think I got suckered.

With my new computer, I got overly enthusiastic.
I purchased a Turn Based Game, "Mechanicus" from Steam.

No support, and hostile forums.

Mouse won't move the map when placed on edge....I have to rush at it with the mouse and slam the screen edge to get map to scroll.

Can't silence the game when paused without going into options. Laborious since I like to frequently bounce between game and watching Netflix.

Can't win. The game is really short and impossibly imbalanced.
Every single combat has you outnumbered and outgunned.

The protaganists, me, are limited to 10 hit points each.

The forced end scenario presents you with Captain Crunch, Count Chocula, and Marky Mark with the Funky Bunch, all at 20 30 or 40 hit points each.

I'm not big on frustration or Grinding.

Set on lowest difficulty. Dozens and Dozens of forum posts from people saying "This game is too hard"
Followed by a huge cascade of shills and haters shouting them down with mockery and vile comments.

It used to be you could get a short Demo to find out if a game was good or not. What happened to that type of honesty?

When did Pre Orders and DLC content become normal instead of stupid?
