Yes, I've been to Hawaii, spent about 4 hours there all at the airport clearing immigration and customs on a flight which originated in Sydney Australia, with a destination of Los Angles. The flight became an internal flight between Honolulu and Los Angles, so we had to get off complete with all our baggage and stand in a queue complete with the passengers from 4 other Jumbo Jets. It took so long that the plane missed its window in to LA and the last 45 mins were spent sitting in the aircraft waiting for a slot. But I did get to see some of the sunken fleet as we flew over Pearl Harbor and the beach at Waikiki.
