Your best bet would be to uninstall Norton...

Your best bet would be to uninstall Norton completely and install something decent like NOD32 AV.
Make sure you get the Removal Tool from Norton's website, otherwise it will leave behind remnants...

If they work fine, then a cheap/simple solution would be to grab a USB multicard reader ... cheap as chips nowdays.

Is the Netwrok Card integrated on the mobo or a seperate card ?

If the former, the driver should be on the motherboard disk, if the latter, what is the make/model of the card ?

Windows has its own generic drivers, but it's sometimes possible for these to get corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling them, then reboot.

That should be ok, but I would suspect the problem could be either a faulty PSU or worst a faulty graphics card.
Have you got another PSU or card you could try, to try narrow things down a bit ?
