Have you checked for yellow exclamation points in the Device Manager for conflicts?
I once had a conflict that could only be resolved by going into CMOS and "enabling" "Reset Configuration...

Swap File

If Virtual Memory can make it appear to the system that there is more RAM available than is actually installed,
would it be beneficial to set up the swap file to equal the size of the total amount...

Installing System Files

Hello,
I am running Win98 SE (stand alone)... I was running Norton System Works 2000 today and I got an error message saying "Boot Record cannont be fixed". Ive never seen this error before while...
