When I shut down the computer, only the monitor will shut down and not the tower, if a cable is connected to the firewire port. If there is no firewire device connected then the tower will power off...

Unhappy Tower won't power off during shut down

When I use Windows to shut down, it gets to "windows is shutting down" and then the monitor goes off, but the tower stays on. I end up having to manually shutting down. Any ideas? Thanks!:dizzy:

Tower will not power off in shut down

When I use the start menu to shut down the computer, the monitor goes off but the tower stays on. I then have to manually shut down,as the mouse and keyboard don't work.
