Wrong drive labels

After the last update I can't see files on a cd drive. Instead I see another program label and the files from it??

burners

how can you tell if the burners are getting bad. I have two. nero burns fine. ashampoo says my burners are bad. I'm using audacity to edit files. does the sound degenerate when I do that?

I'm suddenly getting nowhere trying to download several pdf programs. I turned off the popup blocker, still getting nowhere. One error says waiting for socket.

AVI no sound

I had a hard time finding a program to play an AVI (I think) file. Finally a dvd program agreed. It is playing fine, but no sound. Any thoughts? It used to have sound when it was on an old web site.

I'd like a fix for an MS keyboard that has an F lock. I wish it would STAY ON!!!
