Is your copy of windows a retail version or a burnt copy? I would suggest running a virus scan on your windows CD, there could be a virus on that disc.

Your problem could be caused by a faulty hard drive or faulty motherboard. I'm pretty sure it is one of those you will have to replace one to find out for sure. :happy:
