Does anyone know how to "go back to old school"...

When a new soundcard is instaled, the old "Wave" volume is replaced with a "wave/mp3" control... and that sucks..

I want the old school back,...

Trying to install my Nightingale PRO6 soundcard.
The problem is, that XP always detect it and instal some other crap, an refuses to accept my drivers.
Is there anyway to turn of the Hardware...
