Is there a way to force Windows to startup programs in a certain order? I would rather have my antivirus bootup first, then followed by my firewall since it appears to take less time when Windows...

I want to make some changes in my registry, but every time I reboot the settings change back to the original. How do I save the changes over a reboot? I've had no problems in XP before.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to disable the sound at boot up then, hopefully I won't be having other audio issues with the laptop (haven't tested video playback yet).
