If you are worried about your computer being slow due to lack of ram, you should consider adding more ram. 256mb is the lowest recomended amount of ram needed to run xp.

What I'm saying is, you should be able to hilight or select the entry, and either hit pageup or pagedown, + or - to change the setting. Try that.

I would start off by getting your system cleaned of any malware/spyware/adware you might have. Make a post in the Cyber Safety forum and they should be able to get you started from there. Good luck.

Yeah I tried that one, they gave up trying to support mercury cards since its "too hard". So they gave up. Too bad because the program is awesome for open source. Any other suggestions?

Run a memory test on your ram.

If no errors I would suggest running scandisk on your hard drive and watch for any bad sectors or bad blocks...

Seems like a mouse problem to me as well. Sometimes a USB mouse just needs to be plugged itno a different port. Try that if it is USB.
