The most likely reason you only "see" 3.8 gigs of ram is because the OS is a 32 bit version rather than a 64 bit.

Any one of those cards should work. Since the onboard graphics are Nvidia, I'd probably stick with the Nvidia card, (should be less of a hassle when installing drivers).
