Laptop won't boot
my daughter has an Acer Aspire laptop (V5-471-6687) with Windows 10.
She turned on the laptop to boot it up and it went to the blue screen.. as her to select keyboard... she picked it and it took her to a screen to select System Restore, or system imagery restore, or start up repair, or command prompt, or uninstall updates... We tried to do Start up repair... we selected troubleshoot on one of the screens .. nothing is working.. we tried to do uninstall updates, that didn't work... the computer worked the night before.. next day keeps going to the blue screen... She don't have a boot disk or USB... is there anything she can do to get it back up and running again... there is no restore point to go back to so that won't work... Can she do a "Reset this PC" and keep her personal files... will that get her back in working before this all happened minus the apps and settings... thanks |
