Latest Scam
 

This one takes the cake, I've just received an email purporting to come from the European Commission advising that I've been selected to receive $450,000 in compensation as I've been acknowledged as a victim of a scam.

I guess that those who have been victims of scams in the past will probably hand over their bank details quite willingly to receive the compensation, only to find a large withdrawal from the account rather than any money deposited. :confused:

You never know Ned. It _MAY_ be genuine, perhaps you should send some account details and passphrases etc for them just in case.....:)

I would give it a try since there is nothing to withdraw from my accounts :-)
