Quick question on HOME NETWORKING sorry I'm a newb.

I have 2 very quick questions

1) I have my DSL modem in the basement and the wire is run to upstairs through a router. I am wondering if the wire that runs upstairs can be plugged into a wireless router again so this makes 2 routers(1 non wireless and 1 wireless) will the wireless router have wifi and give out signal to my laptop and other wifi devices?

2)Also I would like to know if wireless routers can run DSL cables to a PC device that is non wireless but still transmit wifi signal at the same time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes. But there's no need to use 2 routers unless you have a good reason to do otherwise.

Yes, assuming it's a wireless router that also has wired ports (which almost all do, the usual number being 4).
