Is the problem solved?

If I might interject something regarding the "McAfee E-mail".
I myself have been getting{so called} Email from McAfee, stating that my Anti-Virus was expiring. Only, I don't have it installed. Thus, I've been ignoring them, and have them marked as Junk Mail. Now McAfee has been bundled with other software, and I've had to stop it from installing along with the software that I wanted. I'm wondering if there is somewhere in my registry that McAfee has placed a few lines of code? Signed: Ensign Tzap |

That's okay. I just thought it might just be a phishing scam, that gets you to click on a link, that starts loading a keylogger, or some virus that steals passwords, and info off your home computer, Data Pad, or Phone. {I'm now seeing a{so called} E-mail from Norton Anti-Virus claiming my Anti-Virus has expired. Only I don't use Norton either.} Some people I talked too about these E-mails. Suggested that it is a scare tactic by these companies to get you to buy their software & service. Signed: Ensign Tzap |
