Freezing Problem after installing windows 10

After installing windows 10 everything was fine but after the restart or turn on it would freeze randomly after couple of minute or so and the only thing i can do was force hold the power button to turn it off. Its kinda random when it freezes also, some days its working fine and some days it freeze and keeps on freezing even after i restart it. After i get tired of it freezing i leave my laptop off and turn it on an hour or maybe several hours later and it seems to work ok.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

what is the full computer model and what did you upgrade from. did you go to the computers manufacturers website and see if there were any win10 updates for your specific computer model there? If not, then give that a try.

did you check asus website to make sure????

i did not check the asus website. are you talking about the drivers and tool software on there at the asus website? i just used a drivethelife app and so i thought everything would be up to date.

those apps are some of the worse things you can do to your computer. oem computers often times have hardware modifications where those apps could install the wrong driver. You use them at your own risk.

You need to go to asus website to their drivers and tool software, search for your specific computer model and see if they have their own win10 updates. if they do, then you need to update.

ok i am looking at the asus site now

and they are asking me what is my OS (3 choices)

windows 7 32bit
windows 7 64bit
others

since im now windows 10 do i need to look in others?
