Changing my screen name for Google?
 

How do I change my handle so my real name doesn't go with comments on Google sites like Youtube? I did not see a way of doing that via profile.

Thanks for the advice. Though the advice was specific to tablets and phones whereas I use a PC, I tried to work with the menus shown to customize my handle. It apparently takes a few days to kick in fully, so I'll let you know after leaving it time to act.

Huh! Can you show me where the advice states it being specific to tablets and phones? What you're asking to change, is through the internet. I see nowhere stating what you're "saying".

lufbra, the first time I followed the link, I saw a heading that stated they were instructions specific to phones and tablets that started with "1.On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app."
Today when I followed the link, the page is different although the above instruction does appear lower on the page.

you can also go to your google dashboard and change it under profile.

I guess I ultimately accomplished the job by feeling my way around the PC rules premising my moves on the phone instructions until it worked, and it has worked. Thanks.
