Says my processor is unkown?!!?.. among other things (upgrade advisor..) HELP

I'm confused.

NVIDIA nForce PCI System Management
uGuru Micro-Processor

beside them it says,
There is no compatibility data available for this device. For more information, go to the device manufacturer's website or Windows Marketplace, or contact your retailer.

How could they NOT be compatable.. freakin processor...is this a problem? or is just some bullcrap i can ignore?

Also it says my printer is unkown.

edit:

And ***.. Home basic doesnt have that cool aero stuff? ... thats kind of a jip. Theres no point in buying it then, it'll look and work basically the same as xp...

i guess that processor isnt Intel or Genuine AMD :x

So what does that mean, it wont work? i'll have to spend nearly 800 dollars getting a new processor, and motherboard??...f that -_-

and my processor IS intel. It's an Intel pentium 4 641 3.2ghz LGA775 2mb 800FSB XD EM64T

Graphic/video cards have their own processors, that's an nVIDIA video card processor it's talking about.

In english it's "there are no Vista drivers for this card".

For more information, go to the device manufacturer's website
It says "go to the nVIDIA site, they might have Vista drivers...it's their card anyway"

You need to install drivers for yoru video card, sound, and printer. Then things should start working.

What are your full system specs?

Optional February 5th, 2007 03:42 AM

I'm too lazy to type it out. I've got more than enough ram, and hard drive space. I also have a 512 ddr ram video card.

So should I just be able to download vista drivers and be all set?

lazygeneration0 February 5th, 2007 06:41 AM

The only drivers you need for vista are video, sound, printer. Everything else is pretty much native in vista. Maybe not even printer.

thanks :)

let's hope my processor doesnt screw it up...

leroys1000 February 5th, 2007 06:29 PM

uguru is a small extra processor built onto the motherboard
to provide extra function.
It shouldn't interfere with vista.
Check the motherboard manufacturer for proper drivers.

Am I invisible here?

We'll try this with one-at-a-time-questions.

Question #1 - Why would your processor "screw up"?
