Cant play my online game? new problem
 

This is a new problem, I play the slots on www.simslots.com when I go to the web site everything is fine, but when I click on the slot I want to play instead of the slot downloading I get a little box with a circle, triangle and a square in it but no game at the bottom of my browser it says Done.
I went to the site I seen on this site to check to see if my Java was on and it is.
I also upgraded my Browser to Explorer 6.
could some one please help!!

You've done everything I would have done to start with, what version of Windows are you using?

Thank you for taking your time to repley, I am useing windows 98 2nd edition with all updates.
I noticed as I was surffing the web, that on this one site it had a option of Java on or Java off.
My Java is on but the menue that had that option was not displayed.
When I chose java off, the menue was displayed.
It seems like there is something going on with my Java.
it is not only one web site but a few others this is happening.
I also tried uninstalling all updates on Explorer ( turned back the clock so to speak) but the problem is still there.

Try updating your device drivers. I had similar problem launching slots from this site
But this was not related to VM Machine, etc. It turned out that the Wi-Fi router drivers were outdated and due to the low data transfer speed, the slots were just loaded for a very long time

think after 18 years the problem might have been solved.

I hope so, but even in 2021, even experienced users often forget about basic things. For me, for example, this is also not uncommon. It's just that sometimes obvious things are visible only when they are pointed out from the outside.
