Windows XP Media and Screen Savers

Not sure if this topic should be here or in the XP forum-- This is a new machine, Dell E-510, now running well after some Cybertech help.

It has this Aquarium Screen saver which I like, however when the Aquarium is enabled and running, the machine does not respond to the Power Settings as set up; for instance, the Aquarium stays on, and will not go into Sleep or Hibernate modes. When set to some of the "Older" screen savers, ie "Mystify", the power settings become active again and the computer will go to sleep and also hibernate at the proper times per the settings.

Any ideas as to how to make the Power Settings work with Aquarium?

Thanks

Somewhat related question:

How can I install this Aquarium thingy on my older computer???

If the screensaver you're using is this one, it says it has the feature, "Enabling/disabling power-saving management."

If that's the one you have, did you poke around to see if something needs to be enabled or disabled?

Also, if that's the screensaver, it says it's compatible with 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP so if the older system meets the system requirements (also listed on that page), it should work.

Re Screensavers

Thanks for the reply Miz--

No, this is a new feature apparently with the latest release of Win XP Media Edition; the Aquarium is "built in" and is shown in the drop down menu when you access Desktop properties--

How does one post a screenShot here

Sorry to be such a dummy--
