Broken recycle bin

Ever since I added on a second hard drive, I've had problems with the recycle bin. When I try to empty the recycle bin or delete individual files from it, the computer hangs with the mouse on the load animation. I eventually have to reset since I can't Ctrl-alt-delete out of it. The second drive works fine aside from that so I don't understand why something like the bin would be broken.

Oh yeah, it deletes files from C: fine. It only hangs when deleting files removed from D:.
Help is appreciated

Hi CCSeth. The problem may be caused by a corrupted file. A friend of mine had good luck using Empty Recycle Bin v1.00 from here on his XP machine so perhaps it will work for you. Save it to your D drive and run it.

Good luck and let us know if this helped.

It failed the first time, only deleting one file and then hanged. I ran it again and it succeeded. I also tried deleting a temporary file and then emptying it the normal way and it worked. Thanks! I'll let you know if it happens again, but it seems to be fixed.
