Slow internet

weird problem.
have 3 computers all running Vista, all upto date SP2 etc, i cant get any of them to get anything like the 100mbps D/L that im paying for.
My son can get 33mbps using his phone connected via Wireless. the telstra{ISP} tech was getting 100+Mbps using his laptop on Windows 7{im lucky to get 10-12 Mbps}

Line tests by the techs show there is not an issue on their end.

When i ping the ISP using CMD, i get a great connection {8-9 ms, no packet loss

All the Computers are hardwired using Cat5 cables {not wireless}all connected direct to the modem, not via a router.
I have updated the drivers for my Motherboard [but its on 3 different computers so i cant see that being an issue}
have even installed a new modem, same issues, so its probably a problem with vista

i have tried all 3 computers in different ports on the modem , Netgear CG3100

Anyone have any suggestions or tweak settings i should be using?

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com...iniToolBox.exe

Checkmark following boxes:

Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)

Click Go and post the result.

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc Unzip it to your desktop and then double click autoruns.exe After the scan is finished then click on File>>>>>>>>>>>Save The default name will be autoruns.arn make sure to save it as Autoruns.txt under the file type option. in other words make sure it is a .txt file instead of .arn Attach the text in your next reply.

Sorry for the huge delay...

Run the fix it below this will remove the tunnel adapters from your machine.
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9728872

Follow the instructions below to disable ipv6.
http://www.home-network-help.com/disable-ipv6.html

change your dns to google dns
https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using

Run the internet repair tool with all boxes checked reboot and see if this helps.
