Windows 7 Preinstallation Enviroment
Hi guys,
Never really done much with Windows 7 installation and stuff, But I need to figure out how to boot into the Windows preinstallation Enviroment where you can enter in commands like for using ImageX to create a WIM image, which I then need to convert to VHD and later mount. I have a Windows PE disc, But when I boot to that it just gives me a memory diagnostic or boot windows 7. Very lost and google seemed useless. |

Hi l337_GuY. Where did you get the disk from, what version of PE is it and have you checked that your boot priority is to set boot from the CDRom drive as first device? There is a lot of information out there regarding Windows PE. Technet is probably your best source.

Really? It sounded to me like you were in Windows Boot Manager. You can see bars showing Windows PE loading when you boot with the disk.
