Well, on Sept 12 you did use Firefox, but I wasn't checking what happened back then. Before I just suggest you post on this problem in maybe the Windows 7 forum, let's see what uninstalling/reinstalling your network software does. But you will need to have the driver on hand on the outside chance Windows doesn't reload it on reboot. What is the make/model of your computer? And do you use wireless or wired?

I honestly know very little about working with a MacBook. You really should post a request in the CTH MacOS forum.

I'm not really sure what that even means. How did you locate the wired network adapter driver, which I am suggesting you may need right now?

On second thought, since you mentioned slowness with Word as well, your problem is sounding more and more like the wrong graphics driver, or maybe a ram issue. But I'm thinking the the wrong graphics driver, or you need to tweak the graphics driver. And I'm back to suggesting you post in the Windows 7 forum.

If you have a macbook air, you can install windows via Bootcamp. However, it is a long and orderly process where you install a few drivers at a time and they need to go in a certain order. I did this 6 years ago, and only now have I experienced issues with slowness, just after logging into airport wifi. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my most recent windows update as well.

Just logging in to a different wifi network wouldn't do anything. But you need to post in the Windows 7 forum to let others here come up with ideas - this forum is limited to just Malware helpers.
